Making a Will ensures that your wishes regarding your estate are carried out following your death.
Your estate is everything that you own on death and making a Will provides family members with peace of mind that your assets are distributed in accordance with your wishes. Making a Will can:
- Appoint executors and trustees to deal with the estate
- Include funeral provisions
- Appoint legal guardians to care for minor children
- Ensure assets pass to chosen recipients, either individuals or charities
- Minimise Inheritance Tax
- Reflect changes in circumstances such as marriage, divorce or birth
- Set up trusts
Without a valid Will or any Will at all, the law decides who will inherit your estate and will deal with the administration. These are known as “intestacy rules” set out by the Government and will establish how your estate passes. This may not be in the most tax efficient way and there is no guarantee that your chosen individuals will administer your estate, or even inherit.

Our costs start from £300 plus VAT for a single Will and £450 plus VAT for a pair of Wills, depending on the complexity.
